In 1980 grandfather Evangelos nun gives the family home in the village Kapsia Mantineia grandson Evangelos nun with incitement in the future to accept world. Thus begins the long journey grandson Evangelos that with the end of his studies in Economics and Business Athens, restores the built in 1870, filling with love the rest and turn it into an organic winery to accommodate visitors and friends.
He realized that the spiritual and philosophical paths that passes only through the respect for the land and cultivated his love for wine could be expressed, because the wine is intellectual creation.
The Winery nuns in the village Kapsia Mantineia at the foot of firs Mainalo and just a half hour from Athens, on the way to Vitina. It is one the CERTIFIED winery of Peloponnesus and unique so far in Mantineia, EOT. All areas are visited and of special interest. In the restored building of 1870 visitors a tour of the history of 147 years of family while learning the modern preoccupation with organic farming and natural wines. They can see up close the aging of wine in underground cellars, enjoy organic wines accompanied by pies and bread with molasses, olives, cheese etc. And all those sitting in the cozy and atmospheric tasting room with fireplace and accompanied by soft music.
The winery has been awarded by the international organization Travel & Hospitality Awards as the Best Winery of the Peloponnese and the Luxury Travel Guide as the Best winery in Greece. Also, through the high ratings and reviews of customers, has won the International Organization for Trip Advisor with Certificate of Excellency for 2018!
